I did use one on the HHR I bought from my brother that had Interstate Battery Decals all over it(it was a Hot shot delivery vehicle for him). Anyways, I did use one and if your real careful you can avoid leaving residue marks on the service. It works fairly well just be careful with how much pressure you apply to the spinning wheel. I got a couple of different ones but as I recall, stay with the name brand(3M).
