Do you carry?
Folks: There are times each of us has nearly run out of fuel on a trip. Has anyone carried a 5 gallon can of fuel as a spare "just in case"?

I do not carry gasoline, but on long trips, I have 2 X 5 gallon, empty gas cans, in the toad. With the big Allegro Gasser, occasionally there are some gas pumps that are difficult to get close to, so I have added a bit just to supplement my tank.
That extra 10 gallons can get me 70-80 extra miles.
