We have a Dometic Brisk Air II on the roof now so we should be ok adding another one. The trailer is not ducted but it is wired for a second A/C. We're going with a non-ducted unit with the Air Distribution Box (controls on ceiling plate)on the ceiling of the trailer. We prefer to have something installed as opposed to something portable.
The one we have now that came with the trailer (Dometic Brisk Air II 15K BTU ducted) works fine. We just like it super cold in general and especially at night when sleeping. Our A/C at home goes down to 67 degrees at night. :)
Now, we're just trying to decide if we should get another Dometic Brisk Air II 13,500 BTU non-ducted or a Coleman Mach 8 13,500 BTU non-ducted.
We've heard good and bad things about both brands.
