Life is too short. I am not a big fan of riding long distances on the back of hubby's Harley, but understand his dream to take a very long ride somewhere beautiful. So I encouraged him to go. He went with a buddy and loved it; I enjoyed the time alone. And I hope he goes again, if he wants to.
It's my dream to travel across this country by RV, not his. But he is willing to compromise and be my chauffeur. He is open to the possibility that perhaps he too may get something wonderful out of our planned trip. You will always come home again to live out your years. I want to travel while we are still healthy and have the means to do so.
Yes, I will miss my friends and family. But these days, there's Facetime, email, texting, and blogging to keep in touch.
Sounds like a toy hauler could be an option. win win
