making covers for fan, door window and shower skylight

Has anyone ever done this? Our TC has a skylight over the bathroom. The sun is bleaching the plastic in places and it heats the TC if the door is left open. (I like to keep the dog's water in ther...

I had a canvas shop make up some covers for the sky lights. We removed a few screws and screwed in snaps that hold the double layered canvas in place. Now if I want a little light all I have to do is unsnap some or all of the cover.
