I buy gallon jugs of distilled water at grocery stores. I use it for my internal use. Coffee, cooking and tooth brushing (or in my case, soaking). Its pretty cheap.
At CGs, I hook up a white hose, but that doesn't tell you where the water in the pipe came from or what somebody (or some dog) did to the tap before you got there. That water is for external use. I'd use a regular garden hose, but I don't want the neighbors to talk. :)
I too found that I can buy Crystal Geiser, "Sprouts" or other brands for $1.00 a gallon and use that as coffee, tea, cooking (especially pastas) and tooth brushing.
That's a very true statement.........we can use a RV/Boat hose but if the water in the RV tank is stale or like you said....don't know where the source is or what dog marked on it.....the type of hose makes not much matter.
