The Oregon Coast is a fantastic RV destination. We spend A LOT of time there. The two parks you listed are good ones...We like the state parks in Oregon which are all first rate. The ones on the Coast (there are many) are in prime locations.

To be safe, I'd make some reservations. The Oregon Coast can be a tough ticket in the summer. If not, you may get lucky, but you will get left-overs.
Don't know your style, but Spokane to Cannon Beach is a long hike for one day...at least for us. We are mossiers.
