I bought a $2 squeegee for the shower, three $1 dish towels for the galley, and a $3 plastic serving tray that I use to set my drink and popcorn on when I am lounging on the bed watching movies before going to bed.
The squeegee does a great job of drying off the shower. The dish towels are super absorbent and do a great job of drying the dishes. The serving tray provides a great surface for my drink. As a bonus, the one time I knocked over my glass of Merlot, all of the wine was trapped on the tray. I poured it in the sink and rinsed off the tray without ruining the comforter on my bed.
Personally, I find IKEA to be a fun place to find cheap little things like lamps, shelves, etc. It is a great place for outfitting a dorm room or first apartment. Not the kind of stuff I would want to put in my home.
