I tow a 28' with a f150,373 rear end & 4.2 v6,it will do the speed limit if you want to pay the $ lol ,it is 4900lbs 8mpg at 60-61 & 10+ at 55-56 ,that's 1 way to tell you could do better with a bigger engine as it doesn't have to run so many rpms to perform,my truck came from ford set up as a work truck & has been a very dependable ride.
