Rear ended long way from home.

Saw this on the way home from work today. Was at the intersection of the 15/78 in SoCal.

Looks like of course massive trailer damage and broke the hitch free and pushed the trailer into the cab.

  • Yeah, but uninsured motorist usually only covers personal injury, won't do squat for property damage.

Hoping doesn't pay the bills. I hope the RVer has uninsured motorist insurance!

  • Ahh, it's a tiny dent, insurance company will have it repaired and on a resale lot in a matter of days.

Seriously, that is one of the problems caused by lack of enforcement on all highways. Tailgating and cell phone usage, such a waste.
  • Hate seeing stuff like that....probably damage to the furnace and frig. also.

Looks like bad enough to have broke the hitch! So sad to damage both the 5er and the TV.
