First of all, you don't have tanks (normally) on a 5th wheel. Tanks are the permanently attached things on motor homes. What you have on 5th wheel or trailer are CYLINDERS.

Why is that important? Because the inspection requirements are different.

For cylinders, the rule effective in 2017, is every 5 years for visual inspections, and every 10 years for a pressure test or a similar test, called "volumetric expansion."
