Recommend seasonal site in VA or NC
Does anyone here have some recommendations of a nice seasonal park in Virginia or North Carolina we can checkout?
Have a 30' 5er that we now keep in storage across town. Due to work and other commitments, we have a hard time making camping reservations far in advance, and there always is the question of the whether the weather will be decent.
So the solution would be a place we can drive to at the last moment and with little hassle, with the RV already on the site. I love the woods, hiking biking etc., but the wife is more of a glamper. So looking for something not too far removed from civilization. We live in Va Beach, kids all grown up and moved out, although there may be grandkids in the near future.
