Recommendations for good brand tow dolly.

I used a Stehl tow dolly for 3 years. It is one of the least expensive out there, but worked well for me. I had electric brakes on it, but didn't install a 12v battery for the breakaway switch. I put a connector on the car's battery and plugged the breakaway switch into the car's battery with an 8' cord when towing.

I use Master Tow with surge brakes. No electric hook-up. Easy.

I have been towing my KIA Sportage with a Road Master dolly with no problems. The dolly has electric brakes, which I like over surge brakes.

Towed our Elantra on a Demco that we bought used for about 2k with surge brakes. Tows extremely well and stores in small space.

Ours is a MasterTow with electric brakes. We bought it used; the previous owner had switched out to bigger tires.

Do a google search for American Tow Dolly. The last time I looked, it was less than $1500, and they deliver right to your door, unload it, unpack it, and show you how to use it.
Of course, the "best" is not inexpensive. IMO, that would be the
DEMCO Kar Kaddy II. The new price is between 4 and 5 grand, but IMO it is the BEST!

I’ve owned 2 Master Tow dollies and they worked very well. Mine had electric brakes.
