Having never gotten pinched (because I don't) I wasn't sure with the ding was, but 10 grand sounds about right. Probably confiscate the vehicle too.
I think in PA they have set fines which are a doosey, and then they have some calculated amount they add in per mile....for every mile on the ticker.
