That's interesting. I thought the higher fuel tax was touted as being necessary to maintain our aging road system. If its not even being used for that, that's not good at all and not suprising for taxalvania. Just like the casinos were to help reduce propeety taxes. Never happened! They are using it elsewhere.
As to the NY poster, i ageee and understand. I have no desire to move to NY. Trust me, there are plenty of things I wouldn't like there also. No place is perfect, but at least in FL, the weather is warmer and there is no income tax.
Plus my DW loves the beach and palm trees. :)
