Anybody else been through the area recently?
goducks10, I did try that before posting, but every public campground I checked was walk-in only at this time of year. No reservations, so no information about occupancy available. I would call the forest service, etc, but I assume that's not an option due to the shutdown.
DutchmenSport, the fire is out, but about 30,000 people lost their homes and 86 people were killed. The entire place has been declared toxic, from stored chemicals that were released, etc. It doesn't sound like they are going to allow people to rebuild.
