I don't have a Ram with a 3600 hitch, but have heard a few owners mention the leg bolts may need to be loosened a little for install. In any case the 3600 always fits, and the owners are happy with them.
You can always call B&W and ask them. They do many installs, and have helpful people that answer the phone and your questions.
