As far as running it on gas. Make sure your Tank(s) is open and you have gas, I know...no brainer, it will take a while for the air to purge out of the gas line. Thus the clicking you hear. I always light a couple of stove top burners for a few minutes to help purge the air. This seems to help with that problem. Now, as far as the unit running on A/C power you might have a blown fuse. Keep in mind though even if you run on A/C power you generally have to have 12V DC for the control panel. Worse case would be bad circuit board. Also check to make sure the GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) has not been tripped. There is generally one GFCI inside the camper that controls all outlets that need GFCI protection.
