Refrigerator skin
My fridge has a stainless steel skin on the doors. Not very attractive and I suspect the original owner used some cleaner on it that wasn't the best choice. It appears that I should be able to slide...

After further investigation on my fridge, thae panels have double-stick foam tape holding them to the fridge insulation. This probably prevent any rattling and noise. I am planning to gently remove the SS panels and install a wooden panel. I can stain the wood to match the cabinets. There is about 1/8" clearance so I may be able to slide the wood panel over the SS panel.
