My wife and I are blue highway drivers. We enjoy the slower pace of driving and get to see the country more. When we started with the fiver, I took along 3 5 gal cans of diesel and 5 gals of gas for the genny. I now have a 50 gal aux tank. I like that but the cans worked good too, just didn"t like standing on the side of the road pouring in fuel. That said, I find that in the smaller towns it is just as easy to get fuel because they may be the only ones around and they get semis and farmers in for fuel. I may drive by, scope it out and go around if it looks good. I always check my gps for streets ahead that will bring me back if I decide to stop. Sometimes easier than lining up in a truck stop.
