We bought our rig in Texas & were imediatly introduced to the driving on the shoulder phenomenom. Makes sense really. Get over & give somebody more room to pass. They always thank you with a wave or a light flash.

Noticed the waving at 60mph too. Can't figure that one out. The approaching speed is 120mph & you are supposed to see a finger lifted off the wheel. I do go nuts when seeing another Alpenlite on the road. They are so rare. Especially east of the Mississippi.
In CGs one thing that is memorable is bucket lights. Must be a southern thing. First saw them in numbers in a CG near Montgomery AL. Southerners are so good at making something useful out of what other might consider trash.
