Just looked it up, its called a VG2 and there are youtube vids up of them catching folks with it.
Thanks for the update. I was aware that there are a few states that prohibit radar dectors. Its my understanding that there a limited number of states, including Canada, having laws against radar doctors. I travel mostly in the south west states and the west coast and have not had any issues. Although it is my understanding that truckers in Ca. are prohibited.
yep, I had my radar detector on my dash at customs and the officer pointed and asked "what's that"? I asked if they were illegal in Canada, he said yes, & I threw it in the back seat. I thought that a detector is not allowed with any commercial license in all states.
