Reliable Motorhome Service Near Indianapolis

I'm looking for input on where to have some service done on my Class B. I've had good luck at Mt Comfort RV, but they are always scheduled out 2 months into the future. And sadly, I've had horrible experiences at Campingworld in Greenwood. I'm hoping to get insight into folks that do service work that aren't also RV retailers.
  • Not so close to Indianapolis, but off I-69 in Anderson, Indiana is Modern Trailer. They are located about 5 miles from my home and are GREAT! Give them a call and see what they can do for you.

Great people. (Just bought an outside 30 amp RV electrical hook up box for the other side of the garage) from them .... this will give me 2 of them now.
  • Depending upon the type of work you need done (engine, chassis, frame type stuff), Hare Cheverolet Truck Center (Noblesville, Indiana - Highway 32 and 37) are absolutely fantastic. They do all the service on my truck. Ask for John Pence. Service: 317-774-2975

There's a shop here in Lafayette IN that works on MHs, they always have some on the lot for repair, they work on gensets too.
Mike Raiser Ford is the dealer name...new ford dealer. Depending on what you need done but the RV repair place I store my RV also works on MHs, 5th wheels and TT trailers.
  • I've had work done at Edmundson in Edinburgh, IN. They do sell rv's but I'm satisfied with their work.
  • Thanks everyone for the input. I heard that Modern Trailer provides good service; but when I called, they said they only service towables.

I forgot to mention that Don Hinds Ford does provide good & timely service on my engine, but right now I'm having coach equipment issues.

I'll try some of the other suggestions provided, and let you all know how it goes...thanks again!
  • Ditto on Modern Trailer in Anderson. They have always done excellent work for me. You might also look at Walnut Ridge RV in New Castle. Camping World is located in Greenwood, but cannot tell you about service quality or pricing.
