You guys might laugh at this, but add a few heaping tablespoons of Adolphs Meat Tenderizer to a gallon jug of water. Use a big sponge soaked in Adolph juice and the bugs will roll right off. You can also put Adolph juice in a squirt bottle and apply that way, allow it to sit for a few minutes and then wipe the bugs away.
I am an airplane owner and this is an old tried and true trick that those of us with airplanes have used for years to clean bug guts off the leading edges of the wings.
