Because the op said his truck can't tow it. Which leads me to believe the op's friend doesn't own a truck, which would also mean his friend more than likely has never towed anything.
With that being said, after thinking about it. Is this a one time move or for regular camping weekends? I.e. Towing to a campground and back.
I don't own a truck. I did. An f250. And towed a TT that 35' long and had a gross weight rating of 11k lbs. but I don't own a truck now, so I guess I am inexperienced at towing.
See there is some left out info that helps. I didn't say you were inexperienced, i was guessing that your friend was by your question. Has he towed something that size before? Not trying to start an argument just trying to give helpful insight with the info. Provided!
