browsing thru various real estate sites found a house that listed for 89,900 in 09, dropped to 79,900 in 10, in 2011 was 64,000, 3-10-17 was 22,800, and 5-17 21,660. don't know if it was rented out, a meth den, or what but some fixing up needed now. ;) in Askov, MN, if anybody wants a cheap fixerupper.

You are correct. We own a rental home. Put it on the market for $65,000 10 yrs. ago. No takers. Rented it for 9 yrs. at $700 per mo. Collected $75,600 and spent $6000 on upkeep. Will now take $100,000 if offer made. :S Not every rental property is a loser.
