Scanner will only find electrical/electronic malfunctions not fuel pressure problems. A scanner cannot read fuel pressure. A fuel pressure gauge does that. This guy was only shotgunning parts at it. Or maybe he didn't replace anything at all. Did he give you the old part?...I would refuse to pay for the pump! If you paid by credit card dispute it. Pay for 1 hour of diagnostic, the coil and say goodbye.
