It's a sad state of affairs that consumers have no simple relief from inept or dishonest auto repair shops. We've all run into the shops that just throw parts at a problem until it is repaired. Of course you end up paying for all the good parts that were replaced too. Sure, you receive some value from having a new part that may now give you longer life but you still lose the value of the remaining life of the part that was replaced prematurely. We all have many, many stories.
