Replacement air filter for F450

Hello everyone out there;
Anyone ever had issues with a oem K&N replacement filter (E0785) for the 6.4ltr F450? The stock one needs replaced and i thought the K&N would be a good choice to replace with then someone told me that the oiled filters are not good to use with a turbo setup. Can the turbo suck oil residue into the turbo and ruin it? They are about the same price as a dry filter is but will last longer and have better airflow. We pull a 2007 33 ft DRV Mobile Suites 5th wheel.
  • I used a K&N filter on my class c E-450 for a while but took it off and went with a Wix filter.
  • My first car was a 1953 Pontiac. It came from the factory with an oiled air filter. It is old tecnology that auto manufacturers abandoned over 50 years ago.
  • Not a fan of K&N filters, others are. I expect you will get many opinions on this issue.
