With the gel memory foam, it comes rolled into a "jelly role" in a box that is about 10" X 10" X however wide the mattress is. If you take the entire box into the RV, then open the box, quickly sling the mattress onto the bed platform and THEN cut the plastic off, it's a breeze to get in. If you make the mistake of taking it out of the box, the plastic will leak just enough air to make it a pill to lug around. If you take the plastic wrapping off, it makes it nearly impossible to get the booger up on the platform. Ask me how I know that!!
That is what got me looking at memory foam mattresses. My 3 primary criteria:
1- It has to fit through the bedroom door.
2- It has to be VERY comfortable.
3- It must be affordable.
The Spa Sensations Gel looks like a good candidate.
