As I said check out LIFELINE.. they have batteries that are all batteries and like Optima are AGM.. Prices per battery are close but 4 instead of six saves you six to seven hundred dollars.
By the way OPTIMA do have their place. For example a 4-Runner or Wave RUnner where you are slaming over ruts. logs. rocks waves and other "Leave your kidneys at home" type driving.. They are great for that since they take a physical licking and keep on ticking as the watch company used to say.
Others may not stand up in that kind of Rough Service.
But if you are driving your house that way.. Batteries won't be a problem. The rest of the house will.
