The main problem IMO is that the Reserve America people have no way of knowing if the reason for cancelling is legitimate or not. So they just have a policy and stick to it, obviating any need for judgement calls. Yours was legit, but they may have had another call with the same excuse as yours and the guy was lying through his teeth. Who can tell?
