Here is what this ole geezer likes about Myrtle.

It has a bypass

I do venture there for Sams and Costco.

My haven is down south at Huntington Beach State Park.

We stayed a week at Myrtle Beach Travel Park last month for the first time and they still had empty spots the whole time we were there. The campground was great, terrific for families, and right at the beach. I am not sure we should all panic and worry about next year right now. Our family cannot plan vacations until after January, if it is like this year we should be fine.

We are thinking of Myrtle Beach next year as we have never been. We have looked into two campground on the water but neither was Pirate Land. Not sure what Pirate Land has but the two we looked at had water parks and lazy rivers as well as the beach. We are planning a Sept trip and the two campgrounds that came to the Boston RV show said that Sept was a great time to go and that most of the crowds would be gone. We shall see. Will not book for awhile, still have not booked this Sept trip yet.

In another 2 years, we'll have abbrevations for abbrevations. 25 years from now, no one will know how to use proper English. It'll all be dashes, 2 letter abbrevations and clicking sounds made from the back of the throat.

Agree. It is not for every one. Kind of area specific I Guess.
Abbreviations mean. PL is short for Pirateland, CGS = Campgrounds.
MBeach, is Myrtle Beach. FYI, is For Your Information. And BTW, is By The Way. Sorry for the confusion.

I am really glad you like it. That just leaves more beach sites for us.

For us. The beach is the ONLY reason to go. I like to walk out of my TT onto the beach. If I had to drive to it, I would just not go. My goal was to maybe help people to get actual beach reservations before they were all gone.
