Residential Fridge

Just bought a Winnebago Journey 40U, with a Resi. fridge.
DW'S question is, is there much sliding around of the contents?
This is our first Resi. Fridge. In a RV. Love having the ice maker and
Not having to DEFROST!

  • If you fill the door Shelves remember to tie off the two door handles, sometimes the door will swing open going around a corner.

We stock our residential refregerator full when we leave home. The only shelf we had problems with stuff moving and possibly falling out when we opened the door was the top shelf, so I put a case of water in it's plastic case container on that shelf and store items around it as we use the water. No problems since. You'll get use to stocking it to keep any movement at a minimum.

    Just need the "
    Beer" not to slide around.

I only drink bottled beer, keep a six pak carton full on bottom shelf turn it so bottle necks are facing back of fridge when traveling, no surprises when opening the door. If you use cans and have residential fridge get a soda can holder.

  • Get shoebox size plastic bins to put jars etc in. slide out bin to get what you need. All our condiments in one bin, breakfast stuff in another...
  • I pulled mine out years ago and installed a residential refg Best move I made that year.
