residential refrigerator vs rv gas/electric refrigerator?

Well personally I will stick with an absorption type for now even though we full time. It works well even at 12 years old. If it were to fail I would likely replace just the bad cooling unit with an Amish new unit, I have done this before, no reason to replace a good cabinet.
