Like rjxj my Energy Star 21 cuft refrigerator draws 8 amps DC when running less than half the time. Had a plasm TV that used more power than that. Most summers we dry camp 5 days/week which even with a NoCold required 2 hours/day of generator time. By adding a separate battery bank, 1000W PSW inverter, and a 100 amp charger my generator time is now 1.5 hours.
NO WAY would I go back to a NoCold BUT a residential needs to have extra batteries added and I would want a PSW inverter unless the refer is a Samsung.
