retreval from mud

Hey all, running out of time to get the camper home. shes a few hundred yards back on a friends property and its VERY soft (we have had the wettest spring I remember). There is a lot of standing water between it and the road. where its not standing water its super saturated. I've always managed to pull it out but this is the worst yet. My f150 has an open rear diff and highway tires. I will get her rolling ok (it winters on full lengths 2x12s so I can get some forward motion but im very leary. Was thinking about putting down some wood "tracks" Was thinking 3/4 osb ripped into sheets roughly 16" x 8 feet. Not sure if this is ridged enough to offer the support of if the osb will come apart. Also not sure if I should do them under the truck also or just the camper. anyone have any experience?

  • Different person same question? I believe the other person used a tractor to retrieve his camper.
  • we did. Notice I'm not asking for what to do, I am asking for opinions on the structural integrity of 3/4 osb since I have a bunch available and in general have avoided engineered 'wood' since it tends to have issues.
