Ride-Rite Air Bags
I have a 26ft Coachman TT that comes in at 6000lbs loaded. The over all length is 30ft. My tow vehicle is a 2014 F150 supercrew with a 145 inch WB. It has 355 gears with the 5.0 eng and LT toyo tires (50 psi). I have the reese duel cam WD system. I also installed a read sway bar with heavy duty bilstein shocks. My tow cap is 8000lbs. I still get a little bit of sway and was wondering is Firestone ride-rite air bags would help or if you can even combined the two. The Reese installation instructions are not the best. I have adjusted and played with it until I am blue in the face. I have been told you want a minimum of five links, I am at four. Do I need to tilt the ball more at an angle to achieve five links. Most of the sway comes in at 65 and above. I try to stay at 65 mph. The truck has plenty of power to pull the trailer. I have gotten around 14 mpg with an avg of 12. Passing semi's are the worst, they tend to suck you over and I know it's the different in pressures causing it. Any help would be great.
