Not eaten cold but no cooking. Gladys will fix extra for supper before a trip and we put a dinner for one in these containers and microwave them for a nice hot meal. We were gone for 23 days on our last trip and had 46 of them and never had to cook supper or eat out. Lunches after the first few days were leftovers.
