Rock Protection for Toad?

I am towing a brand new car as a Toad. I was going to buy one of these. http://amzn.com/B00C59S90M Any other suggestions for keeping my toad in good shape? I am towing it on two wheels.

I got one of those for our PT Cruiser before we towed it to Tennessee and back.
It Worked GREAT!
Of course, for $400, it darn well BETTER work great!
