and, camping in an RV.
every time we leave, I start to get sore arms. I couldn't figure it out for a while, then realized everything is UP. The dishes and food area mostly in cabinets way above my head. The curtains..I have to lean over the couch and tables to get to them, and the windows. A couple of windows, I've moved things to get as close to them as possible. I've started using a "reacher" for some things, but some are too heavy for that. So, I'm getting a bit better, but still a small problem. Anyone else find this happening?
I had Rotator Cuff surgery May 2012. I was in so much pain I was glad to get into surgery! Then I woke up after surgery and the first thing my Doctor told me was you will not use your arm for 5 months! I had 5 screw angers put in my shoulder. There was not much left holding my shoulder and arm together before surgery. I had therapy for the next 5 months 2-3 times a week. About a week after therapy stopped I could not move my shoulder. Went back to see therapist and he said we have to loosen you up a little and the good news is no damage. Back to therapy for about another month. I continue to do my exercises every 2-3 days at home and I will say today I feel Great. Today I Think before I will try to do something with my arms and shoulders. I still remember months after surgery when I was driving my truck and I was able to flip my blinker with my surgery shoulder. I was so excited to be able to get my arm that high! Setting up the camper at sites that summer was a slow process but I did it. We were not going to stay home all summer! Camping is to much Fun! I do not want to go thru this surgery Ever again! Good Luck!
