As I initially thought, After a bit of reading it seems Roto Choks a designed to be more than a simple wheel Chock. Roto Choks are designed with stability in mind. Is there primary purpose a wheel Chok? I would agree yes however they are designed to provide stability as well which is what made them such a quality desired product. They worked as a simple Chock while providing stability
I think where we disagree is on the idea that a product like JT Strong Arms presented direct competition for Roto Choks.
As the quoted marketing literature above reveals, providing stability is an important feature of the Roto Chok.
Roto Chok was/is a quality product and its demise is the result of the passing of the owners who provided superior customer service and not the result of competition.
Nevertheless multi directional stabilizers are game changers and will present real competition to anyone looking to revive Roto Choks.
Multi directional stabilizers have made king pin tripods obsolete and have become the premier way of stabilizing RV trailers vs. the various between the tires methods.
