That is why he is the sales manager, he was very polite but firm. It is their unit, if the customer wanted to make it his unit he needed to make an effort to find common ground but given the numbers quoted he was being unreasonable. Probably a tire kicker who was just playing games with no intention of buying.
Dealerships are strange places. They are actually populated by real people who need to buy inventory, pay bills and have enough at the end of the day to pay their mortgages and feed their families. In short they need to make a reasonable (gasp) profit. Some of you seem to think rv's grow on trees in the back yard.
Sorry if I have offended anyone. I worked in retail sales and simply got tired of being beat up.
