Rude buyer towards sales person - seeing the other side

From what the OP posted, I don't see the buyer as being rude. He wanted a certain amount for his rig. He as apparently trying to get the best price he could. Being to the point and stating what you want in a deal, I don't find being rude. It's called negotiating...Not all sides of the negotiation will be realistic in everyone's eyes. Perhaps more was said that would of made the conversation rude? Were they demeaning? Did he call the seller a thief?
