Run A/C when in storage?

What most of us down here in Florida do is simply buy a small De-humidifier from a one of the box stores. Run the house to your shower. That's all you need.
Beware though it's already the second week in April and if you don't get one right now there won't be any left on the shelves. Seasonal snowbirds will have bought them all up for their RV's. Been there done that.
Like magic on May 1st a switch is flipped and it goes from ok temps to unbearable humid heat in Florida.
