- Hank_MIExplorerSeriously, where do these ideas come from? So you know I did not read all 4 pages of this, already have an upset stomach. You'd be better off pooping in the plastic bag since the toilet paper will break down much faster than the poop. Heck, then you can could remove the black tank and use the space for extra storage. Maybe for plastic bags to poop in. Better yet, wear diapers then you can poop whenever and wherever. Go to Costco and load up on them. Use the extra space from the black tank you removed and no longer need to haul them with you.
We're in our mid 60's, bought a motorhome because we're way beyond tent camping in the middle of the woods. Putting your used TP in a plastic bag, seriously? - Ron3rdExplorer III

Just curious, how many of you flush TP down and how many of you put it in the waste basket.
Inquiring minds...
I actually thought this was a joke a couple years ago when somebody brought up the same subject. It pops up from time to time and is always worth a chuckle. - Ron3rdExplorer III

Our neighbors recently told me that they bag the toilet paper. I said..."why?" They say they are afraid of a clog. I encouraged them to use lots of water...and just flush. They said no thanks.
If they are afraid of a clog then they don't know what they're doing.
How in the world could you get a clog if you know how to maintain your back tank?
These are the same people that will also tell you that you need to buy "RV Toilet Paper". - Ron3rdExplorer III

I can't believe that is even a question. After the paper has been soiled there is only be one place it should go.
X2, amazing people still ask this question. - LantleyNomad

Most people who are grossed out by this have not traveled the world much. The practice can be found in many places that have sub-par plumbing. If you want a real treat google Turkish Toilet for an OMG moment.
But to answer your question we flush. Not many will admit otherwise on a public forum, but it does occur in real life. I know of two couples who live on the road that use the bag method.
I don't doubt that there are 3rd world places where bagging maybe appropriate.
However my RV, in the good ol USA is not one of those places.
This is not about being a world traveler, it is simply about disposing of human waste in an RV.
Once you bag it are you suppose to throw bag of poo in RV park dumpster?:h
That sounds like such a great idea I'm going to start bagging poo at home too. Don't want to contaminate that toilet!....Good Grief:S - John_JoeyExplorerMost people who are grossed out by this have not traveled the world much. What the heck are they going to do with the paper bag full of contaminated toilet paper? Put it in the trash? Now that is really stupid, regular trash collectors are not equipped to manage fecal material. Flush it, that's the proper way to deal with it.
