RV accident at a Roundabout.

After driving around England for 2 weeks 14 years ago our host at b&b asked what I liked best about driving there. I said "roundabouts, give way (yield signs) and no stop signs. Why are there so few stops signs? Oh and if there is a traffic light, the way they show yellow for a few seconds in all directions before going green."
He replied in that polite British fashion to a guest, "Why would you stop if there is no one approaching the junction?"
Oh, and it is also legal to drive a privately owned tank on the road.
