I've bought cars on Ebay and have generally no qualms about buying big-ticket items. Seller reviews are very useful; sometimes you can find out more from them than you can know about a dealer.
The biggest problem would be getting one from a dealer and not being able to do a pre-delivery inspection. Sometimes even new rvs have significant issues. For that reason I would recommend pickup over delivery.
