I am wanting to put up a rv carport for our TT, I can only go 14x41 because of space limitations.I am thinking about going with 11 foot legs and 3 sides closed to the ground. Am I on the right track ...

HIGHER! High enough for a CLass A or 5th Wheel. Concrete it now. If you can't afford the whole job, pour some nice footers for the carport base.
