While I would be scared to death to have them to do maintenance or repairs in the future and if you knew and understood the dealer may not be you're best friend, it is how you felt and you were just being honest. I don't know how much if any run around you may have gotten in the past so it is hard to judge you or the dealer.
I have made errors in the past when purchasing items and if I paid tens of thousands for one I would be a little touchy too. If the dealer was working with you to make things better, well one of the previous posts said it best. It would have been better to say that there were some problems but the two of you were working it out.
But if you knew the consequences of your actions, it was your decision and maybe the lady you answered will make her own decision.
